Columbia Steak House: Southern Steakhouse in Lexington, KY

Food here was amazing! Service was quick and the waitress answered all my questions. Turns out lamb fries are lamb testicles! I didn’t try it but sounds interesting. I got the 8 oz sirloin and steak fries with a twice baked potato. I highly recommend that because it was phenomenal and I have some more as leftovers for later. Really good portion sizes. Would come back again :)

First time here and we will return! Whitney was a great host/waitress. The food was great! I didn't get many pictures but I will next time we dine there. The atmosphere was very nice. It felt like dining at a friend's home. We also got to meet the owner who was as friendly as Whitney. People go hungry, the food portions are very generous. Such a great all around experience!

I am blown away by this place. People are more likely to leave a bad review than a good one, so I just wanted to brag about this place. Colombia Steak House is quiet, and has a very wonderful atmosphere. I appreciated the servers and how friendly and knowledgeable they were. There is a wide selection of food, which helps me because I can be a picky eater. I ordered the onion straws, and they were very well prepared and tasted wonderful and fresh. The rolls were wonderful too. I have nothing but good things to stay. I will be coming back!

Rolled up an hour before close and was seated immediately. Ordered the nighthawk special, rare. Received a perfectly cooked rare steak. Service brought us the wrong beer with our order but gave us another (correct) beer when asked about it. This was one of the best steaks I've ever had and I will be recommending this to any friend coming to Lexington!

We came here for a surprise birthday dinner for my daughter, all she had been talking about is steak lol and I was very happy she loved her steak dinner. Becky our host was amazing, thanks cause we came a little bit late but everything was good. The rolls and butter were tasty. The baked sweet potato loaded has marshmallow on it. very good. Yes we will be back

This was my families first time eating here and it did not disappoint!! The steak was cooked exactly how we had asked for it to be, (medium rare), the steak fries were delicious, the rolls were soft and amazing with the cinnamon butter. We got mozzarella sticks for our appetizer and they were crispy, fresh, hot and the cheese was definitely stringy! They were so good! My husband and kids got The Nighthawk Special and they said it was delicious and one of the best steaks they’ve ever eaten, however, my husband got a side of broccoli cheddar casserole and he wasn’t too fond of that, he did say it was flavorless. But, overall, we loved it. The atmosphere is a little dark as far as the lighting, but, that’s not a deal breaker for us, I just like having a little more light when I eat. Our waiter was fantastic, unfortunately I’m not sure what his name was), but he did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this place. Every one has a bad experience sometimes but it doesn’t make the restaurant, overall, a bad place.

Great atmosphere, great service, and top notch food. My wife and I ate here and we had Sirloin, baked potato, corn pudding, garlic butter with steak drippings, baby back ribs, green beans, rolls, and blackberry cobbler. Everything was great, the sirloin was overcooked but it was still very tender, flavorful, and was a great cut of meat. I will definitely be coming back here instead of Texas Roadhouse. For my wife and I to eat here and have leftovers it costed us $48 (lunch price on steak and ribs) before tipping, well worth it.

Wonderful service, delicious scratch food, and lovely atmosphere. We tried it for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Jason, our server, was one of the best I ever had! Don't let other people's childish reviews let you pass up on this wonderful steakhouse!
